Logitech Introduces World’s First Room-Scale Virtual Reality Stylus

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 29, 2019 — Today, ahead of the Augmented World Expo, Logitech (SIX:LOGN) (Nasdaq:LOGI) announced the first generation of Logitech VR Ink Pilot Edition: the world’s first stylus to offer control and precision in virtual reality, on two-dimensional surfaces and in three-dimensional room-scale space.
For nearly four decades, Logitech has shown the way with innovations crafted to provide designers, art directors, creatives, engineers and architects the freedom and precision they need to express themselves. Logitech encourages people in companies pushing boundaries in the VR space to get in touch and share their work, app developers to integrate their applications with VR Ink Pilot Edition, and industry partners to collaborate on use cases that could transform their business.
Logitech will have a limited number of VR Ink Pilot Edition styluses for sale and for use-case exploration with select partners. The opportunity to pre-order them will be communicated in the months to come, with first-generation product availability expected later this year.
